Re-Threaded Fashion Show

One night of fashion, art, community, on October 2, 2026 at the San Pasqual Cultural Center. Join us as we host an unforgettable night that will showcase local artists in a curated exhibit and 5 Indigenous Fashion Designers. The San Pasqual Cultural Center over looks Lake Wohlford and the view is Spectacular.

The art show will be curated by award winning multi-disciplinary artist, Johnny Bear Contreras (Kumeyaay). The art will be on display during the showcase and attendees can enjoy the art and chat with local artists. An event with paintings, sculptures, and mixed media sets the tone for the whole show.

The fashion show will showcase 5 Indigenous designers and their amazing creativity and skill. Many of the designers focus on sustainability and weaving those practices into their clothing line.

Award winning artist and designer, Marti Daglio (Kumeyaay) of Worn & Reborn, will share her vision with the audience of Indigenous brilliance captured through up cycled and re-worked pieces.

Award winning artist and designer, Tiffany A. Wolfe (Navajo/Lakota) will show her collection which is steeped in story and aesthetic. She uses sustainably sourced fabrics and creates pieces that border the alternative look.

Gorgeous and steeped in culture, Paipa, will provide us will wonder, woven pieces, and Indigenous beauty on the runway. This line is created by Angelica LaBrake (Kumeyaay) & Jadeana LaBrake (Kumeyaay), "One culture from Our Roots to your Everyday Wardrobe."

Mesmerizing designer, Boogz Crypt, created by Alisabeth (Kumeyaay) will share her line that is culture, storytelling, and alternative, and goth aesthetic. Her intertwining of these stories create a beautiful and captivating show reflecting her talent and commitment to her craft.

Talented emerging designer Noah Trujillo (Desert Cahuilla), who specializes in traditional materials, will showcase their work for the first time on the Re-Threaded runway! Their commitment to culture and traditional practices is sure to wow the audience.
